Development Fund

The Silesian Development Fund is a specialised regional financial institution aiming is to build a long-term system providing funds to the region’s micro, small, and medium-size enterprises as well as local government units. In practice, the Company’s task is to organise support programmes for Silesian companies based on repayable financial instruments, i.e. loans, guarantees, sureties, equity instruments, as well as sureties for loans, leases, and factoring and deposit transactions. Under the initiative carried out by SDF, Silesian entrepreneurs will have access to modern financial products tailored to the voivodship’s smart specialisations. The capital provided to entrepreneurs return to the fund to be reinvested in the development of the Silesian economy.

Development of financial instruments aimed at investing in knowledge and technologies, in cooperation with financial institutions and financial intermediaries. The target group and recipients of the financial products are companies operating in the micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurship sector.

The SDF’s task is to organise support programmes for Silesian companies based on repayable financial instruments, i.e. loans, equity instruments, as well as guarantees for loans, leases, and factoring and deposit transactions. A guarantee will be provided by an intermediary entity after it is selected under the re-guarantee facility. Under the initiative carried out by SDF, Silesian entrepreneurs will have access to modern financial products tailored to the voivodship’s smart specialisations. The capital provided to entrepreneurs return to the fund to be reinvested in the development of the Silesian economy.
