General information
The Polish Association of Regional Development Funds brings together Regional Development Funds at the national level to support their activities for regional development in Poland.
The Association is an organisation tasked with supporting the implementation of the regions’ development strategies and coordinating related activities. The activity of the Association focuses primarily on promoting the special role of Regional Development Funds, as well as on co-creating legislative and substantive solutions for the development of repayable financing in Poland dedicated to the widest possible range of recipients, including the sector of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The Association pursues its aims through activities including:
Sustainable development
Initiating and supporting actions for sustainable development of the regions and the whole country
Representation
Representation of the Association at a national, European, and international level
Support for development
Impacting economic policy-making in support of the development of the regions, entrepreneurship, and regional development funds
Support for PARDF Members
Supporting the cooperation of the Association's Members in developing the financing offer in the shape of financial instruments
Expertise
Developing and submitting opinions to the legislative authorities as well as government and local government bodies with respect to financial instruments and other forms of financing to support regional development
Education and information
Collecting and disseminating of information on the operation and offering of Regional Development Funds. Organising training programmes, consultancy initiatives, and conferences
Cooperation
Initiating and supporting cooperation with public, non-governmental, financial, and other institutions pursuing similar aims with respect to economic development, including institutions of the business environment
Fundraising
Cooperation with regional, national, and foreign institutions in the areas of raising funds for activities undertaken by Regional Development Funds as well as the exchange of experiences related to supporting sustainable development and entrepreneurship.
